Aaron Ramsey Is Now on His Way to Rangers

By db-admin

DBasia.news – How quickly a footballer’s career changes. There have been many examples from him like Jack Wilshere, the Arsenal and England wonderkid who now don’t even have a club. Like Wilshere, so is Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey (31 years) is not included in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans to play this season at Juventus. He has made just five appearances across all competitions and last featured in October 2021 in the Champions League against Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Ramsey has also only started once against Udinese in the opening match of the 2021-2022 Serie A in August 2021. His contract remains until 2023 but Juventus do not mind releasing him in order to reduce expenses from player salaries.

At the deadline of the winter transfer window, Ramsey was originally wanted by Burnley, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but according to reports in Calciomercato Ramsey is closer to joining Rangers.

The Scottish historic club will borrow Ramsey with an option to buy at the end of the contract. Ramsey arrived from Arsenal in June 2019 on free agents as his contract expired, but at Juventus he failed to impress.

The record of the former Cardiff City player while defending Juventus was six goals and six assists from 70 matches. So far Ramsey has also won a Serie A, Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup after successfully winning three FA Cups at Arsenal. A move to Rangers could restore his career, but still it was a decline in the manager’s career of 71 caps and 20 goals with the Wales national team. On the one hand, Scottish football culture can suit Ramsey with a box to box type.
