Kane is scheduled to join Tottenham’s training center earlier this week. He did receive an additional day off for bringing England to the 2020 European Cup final.
But Kane did not show up on a predetermined schedule. Allegations that the 28-year-old player was looking for trouble to be sold also surfaced.
It’s no secret that Kane is looking to leave Tottenham. He wants to move to a bigger club to fulfill his ambition to win trophies.
Manchester City is the club that is most serious about signing Kane. But the fantastic offer of The Citizens is still rejected by Tottenham officials.
The tough attitude of Tottenham’s top officials is considered to have angered Kane. Skipping training is a form of resistance.
Kane, however, has denied the allegations. He clarified the reason for skipping training in order to reduce the anger of Tottenham fans towards him.

“Although I will not go into the specifics of the situation, I would like to clarify that I will never refuse to train. I will return to the club tomorrow (today), as planned.”
“I would do nothing to jeopardize the relationship I have with the fans who have provided me with unwavering support during my time with the club.”
Kane is indeed cornered by the news in the media regarding the news of him skipping training. It was made worse because Tottenham did not specify the reason.
Tottenham seemed to deliberately damage Kane’s image in the eyes of the fans. The Lilywhites probably hoped the captain would change his decision to leave.
Kane’s intention to attend Tottenham’s pre-season training does not automatically guarantee that he will stay. The relationship between the two parties will be even more heated due to this issue.
