As Independent believes, Greenwood’s talent attracts the special attention of Juventus and Milan. The Bianconeri, after recruiting Stephy Mavididi from the Arsenal academy, now want Greenwood to regenerate the squad in the future.

At the tournament, Greenwood scored three goals. Then last season, in the U-18 Premier League, Greenwood scored 10 goals in 21 matches. At Arsenal, Sunderland-born players are often compared to Robin van Persie, an Arsenal legend.
Who is Sam Greenwood?
Born in Sunderland, Sam Greenwood spent a decade training in the Sunderland academy before going to Arsenal last year. Greenwood lives with a host family in North London with his academic colleague, Alfie Matthews.
Greenwood plays a striker who can play as a central striker. But, Greenwood enjoyed the role of wing winger on the right side of the game and provided 10 goals and four assists last season.
Comparison with Van Persie arises because of his great ability in releasing kicks. Greenwood has a bright future for developing aspects of the game.
“I am working on improving every aspect of the match, including releasing kicks, gore ball and giving passes, but I am most focused on placement and movement,” Greenwood said.
“When we played with three attackers at Arsenal, how we all reacted and moved on the playing field was vital. Placement and movement with the three attackers we were working on to be natural and move well.”
