AC Milan Assessed Will Be Stronger After Defending Stefano Pioli

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Hakan Calhanoglu was very happy after AC Milan defended Stefano Pioli. Milan is considered to get stronger because Pioli is a coach who wants to listen to players.

Milan performed nicely with Pioli after the lockdown. Of the last 10 matches in the Italian League, the Rossoneri have made seven wins and three draws.

That result makes Milan now sit in sixth position of the Italian League standings with 60 points. Milan initially stumbled under Marco Giampaolo’s care.

“He is a very important coach for me and my teammates. He also wants to listen to how we think, even on the pitch,” Calhanoglu told Sky Sport 24.

“When we analyzed the video, he also wanted to know what we were thinking. He did a good job in a difficult period, he trained us well. We all worked well with his staff and now we are a team,” he continued.

The pace of Milan’s sip is also inseparable from the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 38-year-old striker has been in Milan since January 2020 after his contract with LA Galaxy runs out. The Swedish striker was contracted until the 2019/2020 season runs out.

There have been 18 games Ibrahimovic played with Milan this season. 10 games ended in victory, six draws and two defeats. Ibra was also incised eight goals and four assists in all competitions.

“We are the real Milan, the last few months. We always want to win, we have a great mentality, a lot of passion, thanks to Zlatan who helped us.”

“He is an important player for us, he helped us a lot. This is not over, we look forward to next season and we are ready,” Calhanoglu stressed.
