AC Milan targeting Armando Broja

DBasia.news – AC Milan and Chelsea have a good relationship, especially in the transfer market. And it can be seen from the transfers that occurred between the two clubs, especially Il Rossoneri when recruiting Chelsea players.

Milan borrowed Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea and then made him permanent. Likewise with Tiemoue Bakayoko, who was loaned by Milan for two periods (2018-2019 and 2021-2022). Milan is still interested in Chelsea players.

In the summer of 2022 Milan had been linked with another Chelsea defender from England, Trevoh Chalobah, but the transfer failed to take place. Now Milan is linked with other Chelsea players and plays as a striker.

As reported by Football-Italy, Milan are eyeing Armando Broja. Milan have reportedly started this approach by contacting Broja’s agent and the player’s price is estimated at 35 million euros.

Broja (21 years old) is the next target for two Milan directors, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, to add sharpness to Milan’s front lines. Because the two attackers are getting older, namely Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while Divock Origi has not always been Stefano Pioli’s mainstay.

Broja’s status, which has rarely played at Chelsea this season, despite being a mainstay player when he was on loan at Southampton, could be used by Milan to bring him in. The Albanian player’s contract lasts until 2028.

Armando Broja has scored just 1 goal in 11 appearances across all positions this season. Chelsea have been coached by Graham Potter as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel, but Broja’s fortunes have not changed and up front Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz are still top choices.
