Achieving Victory, Azerbaijan Ends Bad Record

DBasia.news –  Almost being defeated for a year, the Azerbaijan national team finally managed to beat host Bahrain in an international trial match, Wednesday (9/10) AM WIB, which took place at the Stad al-Bahrayn al-Watani, Bahrain.

Azerbaijan won over the hosts 3-2. The victory also erased their bad record of being defetaed in almost a year.

Before winning from Bahrain, Odlar Yurdu’s squad last won against the Faroe Islands on November 11, 2018. This victory also became the inaugural victory for Nikola Jurjevic who had coached Azerbaijan since March 2019.

Odlar Yurdu actually left earlier than Bahrain who scored in the 32nd minute through Abdulwahab Al Malood. However, three goals later from Azerbaijan had them relieved. The three goals were each from Dadaşov, Khalilzade and Ramil Sheydaev managed to deliver a victory for them.

Meanwhile, Bahrain was only able to score another goal from Jassim Al Shaikh.
