Adam Lallana Ready to Leave Liverpool with Premier League Champion Status

DBasia.news – Liverpool will release Adam Lallana at the end of this season. The 32-year-old player will leave the Premier League with championship status.

Lallana’s contract with Liverpool should be completed by the end of this month. The Reds gave him an additional contract until the English League is completed on July 26, 2020.

With the addition of his contract, Lallana will still be able to celebrate the English League title with Liverpool for the first time. The Merseyside club only need two more wins to secure the Premier League title this season.

Lallana’s contract extension for a month at Liverpool was also appreciated by Juergen Klopp. The Reds manager said the player who has joined Liverpool since 2014 deserves the prize as a farewell at Anfield.

“I understand how Adam is very sought after by other clubs who want him next season. So for him this is a commitment he uses and we really appreciate it,” Klopp said about the additional Lallana contract, as reported by The Sun.

“Indeed this is what must be done because I am glad he can stay with us to complete the rest of the season and he deserves a proper separation. Adam always prioritizes the club first, he is always like that,” he continued.

“It is quite difficult for him to lose before the season is over. As a result, it is extraordinary if we can postpone the parting message of thanks and good luck until the end of next July,” concluded Klopp.
