After Kai Havertz, Chelsea Will Have Two More Players Coming

DBasia.news – Chelsea are almost certain to have secured Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz. Bayer Leverkusen reportedly accepted the last offer made by the Blues. Now, two more new players will follow Havertz to the Stamford Bridge.

Currently there is intense news about the possibility that The Blues will welcome the arrival of Ben Chilwell. Sky Sports launched discussions from Chelsea and Leicester in the final stages. The England international is known to be interested in a move and Sky Sports sources revealed that the deal is nearing completion.

Havertz (21 years) and Chilwell (23 years) will be the addition of young players to Frank Lampard’s squad. While in defense, Lampard needs an experienced figure who is still tough. Because of that the name Thiago Silva emerged who would provide much needed experience in defense.

Chelsea conceded 54 Premier League goals last season, more than any side in the top flight of the table and the 35-year-old Brazilian defender is expected to help fix the problem.

Thiago Silva will join as a free transfer after leaving PSG. His eight-year stay in the French capital ended in defeat in the Champions League final by Bayern Munich.

Lampard is currently in the process of overhauling his team at Chelsea following his first season as coach of the London club, during which he led the Blues to fourth place in the Premier League and reach the FA Cup final.

Previously, Chelsea had brought Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig with a total value of £83 million.
