Agent Discusses Jorginho’s Future at Chelsea

DBasia.news – Discussing Juventus’ interest in Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, his agent, Joao Santos is unsure Il Bianconeri can sign him.

Maurizio Sarri still made Jorginho his most dreamed player. The coach has asked Juventus management to bring in Jorginho next summer.

Juventus did several ways such as offering Miralem Pjanic an agreement. However, so far Jorginho has not been contacted by La Vecchia Signora.

“I only heard the rumor from the media. There was no representative of Juventus who contacted me,” said Joao Santos, as reported by TuttoJuve.

“Maurizio Sarri gave appreciation to Jorginho. They worked well together. However, all is limited to that,” said Joao Santos.

“Jorginho only focused on Chelsea. He started to train again and prepares for the resumption of the Premier League.”

Chelsea reportedly objected to selling Jurginho next summer. The Blues will not glance to offers under 40 million euros.

This amount has made Juventus be in a difficult position. At present, the Bianconeri are downsizing to get through the economic crisis due to the corona virus pandemic.

“In my opinion, it is challenging for Juventus to purchase now. The transfer market has changed because of the pandemic and Jorginho still has a contract with Chelsea until 2023,” the agent stated.

“Jorginho is the vice captain of the Blues and an important player. I do not mean to underestimate Juventus, but all European clubs are having trouble paying that much for just one player,” he added.

Jorginho is a player who is of Brazilian decent. However, the former Napoli player has chosen to defend the Italian national team.
