Ahead of Facing Manchester United in the Champions League, Paris Saint Germain Lack of Players

DBasia.news – Ahead of meeting Manchester United in the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel complained about his team’s condition, which was in crisis due to an injury to his team.

Tuchel said he was worried that he would not reduce his full strength on the European stage because some of his flagship players were not fit, such as Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Apart from Neymar and Mbappe, Marquinhos, Julian Draxler and Colinn Dagba are doubtful appearances. Then, Tuchel confirmed that Thilo Kehrer, Juan Bernat and Mauro Icardi are also likely to be absent.

“We are responsible for Neymar and Kylian who played almost 90 minutes in the national team. Maybe we only have about 11, 12 or 13 players available,” said Tuchel as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“We have had a little bad luck. Draxler and Marquinhos are also doubtful against Manchester. Colin Dagba is positive for corona. If the test is negative, he can return to the group. Kehrer is injured for several weeks. Bernat and Icardi are injured,” he continued.

Tuchel also revealed that Danilo Pereira might be forced to isolate himself after coming into contact with Cristiano Ronaldo who has tested positive for Covid-19.

“Today Danilo is back, but he has been in contact with Cristiano Ronaldo, so the medical staff hopes he will not train with the group. Verratti is injured with Italy and is now dealing with our doctor,” he explained.

PSG will play Manchester United on Wednesday (21/10) in the morning WIB, as guests.
