Ajax coach disagrees with Antony’s transfer to Manchester United

DBasia.news – Alfred Schreuder, coach of Ajax Amsterdam, commented on rumors about Antony heading to Manchester United. He disagreed with the transfer method, according to him it was all because of money.

Manchester United’s efforts to bring Antony finally showed results. Having previously rejected an offer of 80 million euros, now Ajax have accepted a proposal worth 100 million euros.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano said the breakdown was 95 million euros plus a 5 million euro bonus.

“The deal can be considered done as disclosed earlier today, which will be sealed on Monday,” Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter.

Responding to the news, Alfred Schreuder was furious on the current state of the transfer market. According to him, everything is now determined by money.

“It’s all about money. I think it’s sad,” Schreuder told ESPN.

“However, this is our world. It is disappointing and I do not agree with this at all,” he added.

Ajax didn’t want to let Antony go. Moreover, previously Ajax also lost another important player, Lisandro Martinez, who also headed for the Red Devils.

However, Antony also pressured Ajax to be able to defend Manchester United. The player revealed that it was time to leave Ajax. The Brazilian player also chose not to participate in training with his colleagues.
