Ajax Delete Hakim Ziyech’s Release Clause

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Ajax officially removed Hakim Ziyech’s release clause.  Throughout last summer, the Moroccan player was the target of big European clubs.

The reason Ajax crossed out the clause was to get higher profits if one day Ziyech was bought by another club.  Previously, the price of the 22-year player stuck at 30 million euros.  That is, enough at that price, De Godenzonen could lose his valuable possession.

In addition to revising the release clause, Ajax also extended the relevant player’s contract.  Ziyech was bound until 2022 and now the selling price is estimated at 59 million euros.

As far as the season goes, he has appeared in 14 matches and packed five goals.  Considering this is just the beginning of the competition, it is not impossible that he will offer goals and titles to Ajax.  Indirectly will also increase the selling price.

Last season, Ziyech looked stunning especially in the Champions League.  Holding Bayern Munich’s draw and getting rid of Real Madrid illustrates how great Ajax was last season.  However, their steps must be stopped in the top four by Tottenham Hotspur.
