DBasia.news – Alex Sandro quitened the exit speculation to the Premier League. The Juventus left-back signed the contract renewal with the club and expects to write a history with Bianconeri.
Juventus agreed to renew his contract just a few days ago. The Brasilian defender would stay in Turin at least until June 30th, 2023.
The decision also vanished Chelsea and Manchester United’s interest in signing him. He chose to stay in Turin,
“The fans can be sure of having a player who will always give 100% to get the win. These were the words spoken by Alex Sandro in 2015 when he was presented as a Bianconeri player,” the club statement said.
“Never could a truer word be said about the Brazilian, who today has pledged to continue that will by committing himself to Juventus until 2023,” the statement continued.
Apparently, the club negotiation with the President, Andrea Agnelli, was the reason why he stays. Agnelli convinces Sandro to be part of the club’s history.
“When a player renews a contract he is always happy because he knows he has the confidence of the Coach, the President, and the club,” Alex Sandro explained to Corriere di Torino.
“In short, I’m very happy. I’ll stay in Turin for many years. I signed the renewal because I like being at Juventus.”
“I spoke with the President, and I know where he wants to go, he and Juventus. I want to be part of that story.”
