Alphonse Areola is Ready to Compete with Thibaut Courtois

DBasia.news –  Real Madrid borrowed Alphonse Areola from PSG as a replacement for Keylor Navas who moved to PSG.

The Frenchman was also introduced to the public at the Santiago Bernabeu on Friday (13/9). Even though already officially in Los Blancos’ uniform, Areola is predicted to still find it difficult to get regular playing minutes, considering Thibaut Courtois is Zinedine Zidane’s first choice.

“With Real Madrid, I have to do my best. But it is true that rarely getting minutes to play will be a complicated problem for me,” Areola was quoted as saying by Football Espana.

“Even so, I will be ready to do my best when given the opportunity by Zidane,” he concluded.

However, seeing Courtois showing an inconsistent performance, it seems that Areola can make his debut with Zidane’s squad quickly. Especially if in the next fight against Levante, El Real fails to get maximum points.
