DBasia.news – Watford manager, Roy Hodgson admits that his team are only underdogs when they travel to Manchester City tonight. But Hodgson ensured that the Hornets would try to frustrate the Cityzens.

Watford will face a tough match in the match week 34 of the Premier League as they are scheduled to travel to Manchester City’s headquarters at the Etihad Stadium, Saturday (23/4).

In this match, the Hornets weren’t favored considering their quality is far from City. However, Roy Hodgson ensures his team will try to defeat the hosts.

“We are not a favored team. We will just try to go to hell and try to win,” said Hodgson as quoted by Tribal Football.

“99% of people will judge us in this game as a disaster. So the only way we can do is to play as well as possible and make sure they will face a tough game. We will close the space that allows them to score goals.”

“When we have the ball, of course we hope to counter-attack to give them some problems. That’s what we can do and what you can promise is that in football anything is possible.”

The Golden Boys themselves are currently still in 19th place with a collection of 22 points and desperately need a win to keep their chances of surviving in the Premier League. On the other hand, City also need an additional three points to maintain the top position.
