DBasia.news – Despite the winning in the last match in the 23rd-week of Liga 1, defeating Arema with a 10- score on September 22, Persipura’s internal team situation isn’t improving.
The peak was when coach Amilton da Silva Oliviera and technical analyst Fabio Oliviera resigned on Monday (24/9). Persipura media officer Bento Madubun told this.
In his explanation, Bento revealed that Amilton and Fabio submitted the resignation in the evaluation meeting in recent matches of Mutiara Hitam team management. In that meeting, there were also player representatives.
“We discussed some issues in that meeting. Coach Amilton declared the situation isn’t as expected. He feels that if the current situation persists, it will be worse and worse for the team. He assumed the situation must be ended, the team must be in harmony and well,” Bento said.
Fabio Oliveira who assisted Amilton in Persipura also asked for resignation.
“We report this to the chairman and manager, they agreed the resignation. We thank coach Amilton and Fabio for the mindset. It means that they really care about Persipura. We took the positive lesson of this,” Bento continued.
With the agreement of Amilton da Silva Oliviera and Fabio Oliviera resignation, the Persipura coaching seat will be continued by Oswaldo Lessa, who previously became the coach assistant.

On the other hand, Amilton da Silva Oliviera was the second coach who left Persipura this season. Previously, Peter Butler also left the coaching seat of Persipura on June 2018.
