An Italian Journalist says Antonio Conte’s Strategy Failed at Inter Milan

DBasia.news – Italian journalist, Michele Criscitiello commented on Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte. He considered the 3-5-2 tactics that Conte often used did not work.

After finishing second in Serie A last season, Antonio Conte failed to bring Inter consistent at the start of this season. Of the last eight matches, La Beneamata only won one victory.

Not surprisingly, Conte’s ability has been in the spotlight. The coach is considered unable to make the Inter players give their best.

One of the biggest highlights has been on Conte’s selection of the 3-5-2 formation. According to Michele Criscitiello, the formation is unsuitable for Inter Milan.

“After watching the first half of Atalanta’s match against Inter Milan, I thought it would be better to watch Home Alone without waiting for Christmas. Conte believes that changing his game system is the same as swearing in church at Christmas,” explained Michele Criscitiello as reported by Tuttomercatoweb .

“It needs to be made clear to him that he will not be jailed in San Vittore if he leaves behind that sickening and useless 3-5-2 formation.”

Apart from alluding to formation, Michele Criscitiello also discussed Christian Eriksen. According to him, Conte wasted the abilities that Eriksen had.

“For the style of play that Conte has in mind, he needs a player like Cafu. Also don’t forget he has Christian Eriksen in the squad.”

“What mistakes did Eriksen do? Nothing. I think Eriksen is the only quality player that Inter has. However, for Conte, quality is a tragedy,” continued Criscitiello.

At present, Inter Milan are in seventh position in the Serie A standings. Romelu Lukaku and his colleagues are five points behind the leaders, AC Milan.
