DBasia.news – Just two weeks of Serie A, Napoli send a real message for the winner of Scudetto for seven consecutive times, Juventus. The message is the fact that Napoli remain as the serious candidate to compete for the Serie A title though they are no longer coached by Maurizio Sarri.

Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival made perfect the strong squad from Sarri. One significant change is Ancelotti’s champion mentality, who once succeeded with AC Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Napoli showed it clearly by the 2-1 victory against Lazio and 3-2 against Milan.

Napoli faced the same situations in the two matches: left in the beginning. However, they fought and succeeded in reversing the situation and led. Recently, Marek Hamsik and friends did a bright comeback against Milan at San Paolo.

Napoli was left 0-2 by the goal from Giacomo Bonaventura and Davide Calabria. Slowly but sure, with fans’ support, Napoli revived by two goals of Piotr Zielinski and the decisive goal from Dries Mertens. Napoli won dramatically, Milan dropped.

“We turned off the light, the final part of the game was a disaster. It’s a pity because we dominated for 55 minutes. I don’t blame single players, I am disappointed because we disappeared from the pitch after their first goal. We must be stronger than a single mistake, it’s the same problem we had last season,” Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso, who felt disappointed with the result, gave his comment.

“Both teams played well even if I think we didn’t deserve to go two goals down. We showed some great commitment and an extraordinary personality. The crowd helped us a lot too,” Ancelotti added, reported by Calciomercato.
