Anderson Retires

DBasia.news –  A surprising announcement came from a Turkish club, Adana Demirspor, who reported that Anderson, a former Manchester United midfielder, hung up his boots.

The Brazilian midfielder decided not to continue his career as a player even though he was still 31 years old. According to club chairman, Adana Demirspor, Anderson is currently still serving in the club as a staff. With his new assignment, Anderson will get paid far more than before when becoming a player.

After shining with Gremio, Anderson moved to FC Porto when he was only 18 years old in 2006. After one year later, Anderson moved to Manchester United for 30 million pounds.

In the early days with Man United, Anderson appeared promising, even he received the Golden Boy award, as the best young player. This award has also been won by Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas, and Sergio Aguero.

However, his appearance was inconsistent and his injury defender made Anderson fail to live up to expectations. In 2015, Manchester United released Anderson. The player returned to Brazil and joined Internacional.

Again, failing to shine with Internacional, Anderson moved to Turkey and joined the club in the second caste of Adana. Last season Anderson only appeared in 11 matches until finally decided to hang up his boots.
