Antonio Conte has Difficulty to Explain Inter Milan’s Inconsistency

DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte said he was perplexed by his team’s inconsistent performance. He even had difficulty when asked about the Nerazzurri who appeared inconsistent.

Inter Milan played 2-2 when they visited Hellas Verona’s headquarters in the 2019-2020 Serie A match at the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium, Friday (10/7) AM. The hosts’ equalizer was scored by Miguel Veloso four minutes before the game ended.

These results continued Inter Milan’s poor record after being beaten by Bologna at the San Siro. Antonio Conte was confused as to why his team could not maintain their excellence.

“It’s hard to explain. We have to be better in dealing with certain situations,” said Antonio Conte after the match as reported by Italian Football.

“I also think the experience in Serie A in bringing improvements over time. At the moment, we end up struggling too easily.”

“Verona barely had a shot on a goal in the second half. We conceded a throw-in and the ball went to the player on the edge of the penalty box.”

Antonio Conte did not want to open up too much as it would often be used as a weapon to attack him. Conte just wants to improve the ability of all players.

“The media loves to tear me apart. That’s their way of having fun. I will make a judgment at the end of the season, so will the club and the players. If there is something to say to the club, I will reveal it,” explained Conte.

Now, Inter Milan are fourth in the standings. The Nerazzurri are one point away from Atalanta, who are in third.
