DBasia.news –  Antonio Conte played Christian Eriksen as a starter when Inter Milan traveled to Udinese, Monday (3/2/2020). The result, his club won 2-0.

Despite not creating assists or goals, Christian Eriksen’s game was quite impressive. Together with Nicolo Barella and Matias Vecino in midfield, he managed to maintain the balance of the team.

For Antonio Conte, what the midfielder brought in from Tottenham Hotspur showed was a good sign. However, he still requested the player to learn the team’s style of play.

“I think his performance today was amazing for a player who only joined five days ago, and don’t forget we also lost a lot of midfielders. So his presence is very positive, “Conte told Sky Sport Italia, Monday (02/03/2020).

“Of course he has to get used to our style of football and have to find his fitness level again for the next match. But I’m very pleased with today’s full debut, “he added.

Regarding the match that took place at the Dacia Arena, the former Juventus coach revealed that the match went fiercely. He also praised the Inter Milan players who kept their focus for 90 minutes.

“It was never easy to play at Udinese. They are a team that relies on physical strength and created many problems for us when playing at the San Siro. But our players appeared focused throughout the game and they used speed to reduce the physical strength of the opponent, “concluded Conte.
