Antonio Valencia’s Farewell to Manchester United Fans

DBasia.news –  Manchester United will be without two senior players next season: Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia. Both of them had leeft and gave their farewells to fans.

Herrera has played with United from 2014, while Valencia is even longer – from 2009. His second contract ended at the end of the season and the club chose not to extend it.

Valencia, 33 years old, has yet determine his new club. However, Valencia will only determine it after playing with the Ecuador national team in the Copa America 2019. The former Wigan Athletic player hopes to still be able to play two-three more years (until he reaches 36 years).

“I only focus on the Copa America with my country (Ecuador) after tomorrow’s final match at Old Trafford. After the match, I will sit down with my family and advisor and discuss the problem, as I want to play in two-three more years,” Valencia said , reported by the Mirror.

“My message to all Manchester United fans represents myself and my family, thank you for your continuous support.”

“I wish them all the best for the future and the future team will give you a great victory in the match,” concluded Valencia.

Throughout the 10 years of strengthening the Red Devils, Valencia had felt the achievement of two Premier League titles and one League Cup under the care of Sir Alex Ferguson, as well as one FA Cup and Europa League.
