Argentineans Hated CR7 For Being Messi’s Rival

DBasia.news –  Juventus striker Paulo Dybala said Argentines hate Cristiano Ronaldo. The hatred was due to CR7 being Lionel Messi’s main rival on the gridiron.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s rivalry with Lionel Messi continues to this day. In fact, the two are no longer in one league.

Not surprisingly, the duel also carried over to the birthplace of Messi, Argentina. There, Lionel Messi was a hero, while Ronaldo was a hated figure.

“I told him: ‘Ronaldo, in Argentina, we hate a little because of your figure, because of how you are, how you walk,” Dybala stressed during an interview with the Argentine soccer association.

Competition between the two players began to taper after Ronaldo played at Real Madrid. Both also elbow each other in the race for the Ballon d’Or award. At present, Messi excels with one more award.

However, Dybala considers that not all views of Argentines towards Ronaldo are fact. “However, one thing that surprised me was that I saw you differently,” Dybala continued.

Besides Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala also played with Lionel Messi in the Argentine national team. Dybala had said that appearing with Messi is much more difficult. Not wanting to be a weapon to eat master, Dybala tried to straighten out his words.

“I’m talking about that because our position is very similar in terms of tactics. I didn’t get a chance to appear in the World Cup or the Copa America. However, at the same time, I always respect the coach’s decision because the Argentine national team is very prestigious,” Dybala said.

Paulo Dybala is reportedly in a new contract with Juventus. In fact, the former Palermo player had entered the list at the beginning of this season.
