Arkadiusz Milik and Marash Kumbulla Will Come to AS Roma in the Near Future

DBasia.news – AS Roma began to make movements in the 2020 summer transfer market. The club from the Italian capital is reportedly only one step away from completing the transfers of Arkadiusz Milik and Marash Kumbulla.

The first player to approach Rome was Arkadiusz Milik. The Napoli attacker has been wanted by Roma since a few weeks ago.

Reportedly, Arkadiusz Milik was no longer at home defending Napoli. Il Partenopei wants to sell Milik to get fresh funds on the transfer market.

Fabrizio Romano reported, an agreement was reached between the Giallorossi and Napoli. The two teams agreed that the Polish striker’s price was 25 million euros including bonuses.

Now, the ball is in Milik’s hands. If agreed, the player only needs to complete the contract and perform a medical test. The success of the transfer will also pave the way for Edin Dzeko to Juventus.

On the same day, Roma also moved to sign Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla. Like Milik, the deal is very close to being finalized.

Previously, Marash Kumbulla was approached by Inter Milan and Lazio. However, until now, the two clubs have not made a concrete offer for Verona.

Roma, who had just entered the hunt later, immediately overtook them. Roma are reportedly offering a season-long loan plus a 30 million euro redemption option.

Roma’s move to pursue Kumbulla is believed to be an alternative to Chris Smalling’s unfinished transfer. Roma are still having trouble achieving Manchester United’s asking price.
