Son Heung-min arrived to support the U23 South Korea national team. He is part of the squad as the senior player allowed to join.

South Korea belong to Group E with Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, and Bahrain. South Korea started the journey in the 2018 Asian Games on August 15 in the match against Bahrain.

Yonhap got the picture of Son Heung-min in Husein Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung. He flew directly to Indonesia after the last match of Tottenham Hotspur versus Newcastle United on August 11.

Son Heung-min played from the 80′ against Newcastle United. He entered the pitch replacing Bamidele Alli.

“I’m still young, I feel okay. I have to ease the jetlag,” he explained.

There is a probability that the 26-year-old player will play against Bahrain, though previously rumored to absent.
