DBasia.news –  Getafe’s great performance this season cannot be separated from the greatness of Pepe Bordalas concocting and maximizing the existing squad. Getafe has the potential to play in the Champions League next season.

Successfully appeared above expectations, also made many of his players monitored by European clubs, and one of them was Djene Dakonam who was reportedly through Football Espana being targeted by Arsenal.

As is known, the North London club is reportedly wanting to strengthen its defense, especially in its central defender position after seeing Mustafi Skhodran who continued to experience a decline in performance.

The seriousness of the Gunners to try to hook Dakonam was even seen clearly, after Unai Emery saw the appearance when Getafe held Valencia to a score of 0-0, in the 27th week of the La Liga event.

Reportedly, the club based at the Emirates Stadium was also willing to pay the release clause from the Togo player for 35 million euros.

Nevertheless, Getafe does not seem to easily release one of its best players in the upcoming 2019 summer transfer market, especially Azulones President Angel Torres had stated that Dakonam was not interested in playing outside of Spain.
