DBasia.news – Arsenal has continued to announce changes to club management. After receiving the spotlight regarding the contract termination of 55 staff, which includes various talent monitors, Raul Sanllehi who is now Head of Football Development is leaving his position. Sanllehi left the position he has occupied for three years.
Sanllehi’s position was replaced by managing director, Vinai Venkatesham. The decision was reportedly taken following an internal review report of the transfer of Nicolas Pepe from Lille which set a record signing for the club last summer.
Sanllehi is behind the scenes of the £ 72 million player transfer. Later, would Arsenal conducted an internal investigation following Pepe’s performance which was deemed unworthy of the price paid.
