Arsenal firmly removes Aubameyang’s captaincy positio

DBasia.news – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s disciplinary case seems to be quite serious. As a result of this problem, Arsenal will remove the Gabonese player’s captaincy position.

The disciplinary case against Aubameyang was initially disclosed by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

This problem prevented the player from being included in the match against Southampton, last weekend.

Arteta did not clearly reveal the disciplinary violations committed by Aubameyang. But the former Borussia Dortmund player allegedly missed training the day before the match.

What is clear, the offense committed by Aubameyang is almost unforgiveable. Stripping the captain’s armband from him seemed unavoidable.

“Following his latest breach of discipline last week, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will no longer be captain of our club. We expect all our players, especially our captain, to work according to the rules and standards that we have set and agreed upon,” Arsenal said in a statement.

Removing the captain’s armband was not the only punishment Aubameyang received. He is also confirmed to miss the match against West Ham United on Thursday (16/12) morning WIB.

“He will not be considered for selection in the game against West Ham United. We are fully focused on tomorrow’s game.” Arsenal’s statement continued.

This has made Aubameyang’s future at Arsenal bleak. It is possible that the 32-year-old striker is on the selling list in the next winter transfer market.
