DBasia.news – Arsenal are starting to make moves for Darwin Nunez’s services this summer. The Gunners camp is reported to have made contact with the agent of the attacker belonging to Benfica.
Throughout the 2021/22 season, Darwin Nunez has gone crazy with Benfica. Of the 33 matches he played in all competitions, the Uruguayan striker was able to score 26 goals for As Aguias.
Nunez has also been a key actor behind Benfica’s success in reaching the last eight of the Champions League this season and as a result he is selling well to be wanted by a number of top European clubs.
In a recent report written by the Daily Express, the British media reported that Arsenal were one of the teams interested in using Nunez’s services next season.
The same report also reported that the North London club’s management had contacted the striker’s agent a few days ago.
When launched from the player site Transfermarkt, Nunez is currently estimated to have a valuation of 40 million Euros (Rp 630 billion).
Cannon London incidentally does need the services of a new striker for next season after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona.
Apart from being left by Auba, Arsenal also has the potential to lose their two other strikers, namely Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
