Arsenal Stumbling, Arsene Wenger Ready to Return to the Emirates

DBasia.news – The legendary Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, admits he will return to London if his former club needs his help.

Wenger is one of the best managers Arsenal have ever handled. He had brought the club from North London to an era of glory.

The achievement of three Premier League trophies and seven FA Cup titles is proof. Wenger even brought Arsenal unbeaten for one season when he won the 2003-2004 league season known as The Invincibles.

“If I am needed, I will help them (Arsenal). But I didn’t expect that,” Wenger told NBC Sports.

Wenger started managing Arsenal in August 1996. He ended his 22 years of service at the end of the 2017-2018 season.

After retiring, Wenger still seems to pay special attention to Arsenal. He even had time to comment on the actions of Mikel Arteta, who in fact was his former foster child and now sits in the manager’s chair.

“He was lucky to get straight into a big club, in a position where you usually have to work ten years to get that position. I hope he is well,” said Wenger to Talksport, last October.

The discourse of Wenger’s return might come true if Arteta failed to bring Arsenal into the position they should have. The Spanish national was in danger of being fired because his team fell to the brink of relegation.

But Arteta managed to escape from the pinhole. Arsenal are now starting to crawl up after winning twice in a row against Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion.
