Arsenal Threatened to Fail to Release Hector Bellerin to AC Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Arsenal are facing a thorny issue regarding the future of defender Hector Bellerin. The reason is, the prospective buyer, AC Milan, has another choice. The Rossoneri are in the final stages of the transfer of Alessandro Florenzi.
Arsenal want to release Hector Bellerin this summer. The La Masia academy product is considered unsatisfactory. Since the middle of last season, Bellerin has been on the bench more.
On the other hand, Bellerin also wants to leave the Emirates Stadium. He has sent his agent to speak to Arsenal. In essence, both parties agreed to separate.
One of the clubs interested in Bellerin is AC Milan. The Rossoneri are looking for a new full-back after failing to reach an agreement with Manchester United over Diogo Dalot.
However, after negotiations, Milan turned around. The Rossoneri prefer AS Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi. A much cheaper price is believed to be the cause.
For Bellerin, Arsenal put up a tag of around 20 million pounds. Arsenal also want to get certainty if the defender will leave. Therefore, the loan proposal must include a redemption clause.
Meanwhile, Florenzi is far less risky for Milan. Because, the defender can come with a loan status and a redemption option. The price of the former Paris Saint-Germain was not as high as Bellerin. Not surprisingly, Milan are more interested in Florenzi.
Previously, Bellerin had also attracted Inter Milan. However, in the end Inter chose Denzel Dumfries which had a cheaper value. Dumfriez came at a price of 15 million euros including bonuses.
Now, with the transfer market less than two weeks away, Arsenal are finding it difficult to sell Hector Bellerin. If so, the Gunners will need to wait until early next year to sell the Spaniard.
