Arsenal Tries to Permanent Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Dani Ceballos managed to show his quality with Arsenal this season on loan at Real Madrid. Despite being plagued by injuries, the player’s condition has improved under Mikel Arteta’s direction.

Dani Ceballos has appeared 29 times this season in all competitions with a record of two goals and two assists. He became the arranger in Arsenal’s attacking line when Mesut Ozil was often plagued by injuries or inconsistent play.

There is no permanent redemption scheme in Ceballos’s contract at Arsenal, though the North London club will try to talk to Real Madrid and secure the contract.

This was confirmed by Mikel Arteta. The manager claimed to be satisfied with the development of the Spaniard. Not only from the way he builds the attack, but also the movement without the ball and how to help the team in the defense phase.

“The two clubs (Arsenal and Madrid) have communicated. I really like Dani and what he brought to the team,” Arteta said as quoted by Standard Sports.

“When I joined, he was not able to play as he suffered a difficult injury, but he understood what we were trying to do very well and he has a great personality to play and take the ball in any area on the field and gave us the continuity needed as a team not only to control the game better, but also without the ball.”

“The way he runs, (doing) tackles, every time he cuts the ball, his desire to win the ball and help the team, he greatly improved and he seems a very good player at this time,” explained Arteta.

Arsenal are indeed in the midst of taking care of players’ contracts in the latest squad. After extending David Luiz’s contract, Arsenal have also have secured the contracts of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares. They hope to do the same to Ceballos.
