DBasia.news – Former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, believes it is too early to align Raheem Sterling with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In Arsene Wenger’s view, it is very difficult for Raheem Sterling to be equal with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Liverpool player still needs more proof to be able to move up the class to be level with these two extraordinary players.
“For now, I say no,” Arsene Wenger said. “You must always be careful. I like Sterling. However, when talking about these people, you talk about 50 goals per season for 10 seasons.”
“So, personally, I don’t think he’s there yet. However, he is indeed one of the main players in the Premier League which is one of the best leagues in Europe,” he said again.
