Arsene Wenger’s response to the current Arsenal situation

DBasia.news –  The former Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger revealed the reason he did not become an Arsenal manager. Wenger felt frustrated when gushed the club, according to him Arsenal is not like a club that has been handled more than two decades.

Wenger spent 22 years with Arsenal. In his hand, Arsenal was transformed into one of the main strengths in the Premier League.

Until his departure in 2018, Wenger took Arsenal three times to become Premier League champions, one of them with an unbeaten record in 2003-04. Also in the Wenger era, Arsenal won the FA Cup seven times and became a Champions League finalist once.

However, over time, Wenger acknowledged the rapid development of football has made club management begin to lose touch. When he left, Arsenal were no longer the same when they were first raised.

“At present, the size of the club sometimes stops them from maintaining a culture of neat performance,” Wenger told So Foot.

“When I arrived at Arsenal, there were only 80 people at the club. When I left, there were 750 people. When there were 750 people in one organization, each person would think of saving himself rather than thinking of developing a team,” said Wenger.

For Wenger, Arsenal has become too big to finally care about what’s happening on the field.

“I regret that Arsenal has changed from human size to an inhumane. I feel that Arsenal is moving away from me.”

In addition to the club’s condition, one of the factors that made Wenger more unanimous to leave the club was the treatment of supporters. When he saw the lack of support from supporters, Wenger decided it was time to leave.

If Arsenal still runs the club organization as it is today, it is difficult for other managers to do their job. Evidenced by the failure of Unai Emery who came to continue Wenger’s task.
