Arturo Vidal believes Barcelona has not surrendered in the LaLiga title competition

DBasia.news – Arturo Vidal said, Barcelona will continue to fight hard after the 1-0 victory over Real Valladolid on Sunday (12/7) AM, so that the opportunity to compete in the La Liga title was maintained.

Barcelona’s sole goal scored by Vidal in the 15th minute was after receiving a feedback from Lionel Messi. Goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen performed brilliantly in the second half to lock in the victory for the visitors.

Ahead of the match against Valladolid, Azulgrana was four points behind Real Madrid. With that victory, Quique Setien’s troops are now cutting the gap to one point, but Los Blancos will only compete against Granada on Tuesday (7/14)AM.

If Real Madrid wins against Granada, the team from the Spanish capital will return four points ahead of Barcelona with the competition leaving only two matches later.

“We know it depends. We just have to win all the remaining matches,” Vidal said in an interview after the match.

“It depends on us. We just have to do what needs to be done and see what the other teams do near us.”

“We have a chance and don’t use it, and we know they will get it.”

“We have to increase our attack and take our chances. What’s important is we do what we do here and we get three points.”

“It is challangeing to go up against a team that plays hard and plays well. Also, the conditions are a bit complicated, but I’m glad we can win.”

“We know we have to work very hard and will not always be able to maintain rhythm throughout the game.”

“We want to improve the game. We keep ourselves in the title competition and that is the most important thing.”
