Arturo Vidal’s Ultimatum to Barcelona

DBasia.news –  Arturo Vidal threatened to leave Barcelona if he still rarely plays this season.

The 32-year-old Chilean midfielder has made nine appearances at LaLiga, six off the bench, with a total of 345 minutes of appearances, plus four in the Champions League and seven in the Copa del Rey.

However, most of the match Vidal started from the bench, not a starter, because Ernesto Valverde tended to rely on Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, and Arthur in Barcelona’s midfield. No doubt Vidal has begun to think about his future.

Former Juventus and Bayern Munich players are in demand by Antonio Conte who wants to take him to Inter Milan. Vidal, who has been with Barcelona for a year, did not rule out leaving if the situation did not change.

“I want to (play) all the time, but I have to be objective and experience from day to day. If in December, or at the end of the season, I don’t feel important here, I will look for solutions and strengthen my horizons to be important (in one club),” explained Vidal, as reported by Sport-English.

The Copa America and three Bundesliga titles have also asked for an increase in performance from Barcelona, especially if they want to win the Champions League, which was last won in 2015.

“We have to improve our performance and also fitness if we want to win the Champions League,” said the 115 caps and 28 goals holder with the Chilean national team.
