The man who is usually called Mert Cetin came to AS Rome with a pretty cheap price. I Lupi only paid 3 million euros to the Cetin club, Genclerbirligi.
That number can still increase if AS Roma sells Mert Cetin in the future. Genclerbirligi will receive 10 percent of the player’s sales.
Together with AS Roma, Mert Cetin signed a contract until June 2024. Also, the player who is fluent in playing as a central defender will wear jersey number 15.

Mert Cetin came to AS Roma to replace Kostas Manolas, who moved to Naples. Predicted, Cetin will be a duet with Gianluca Mancini in the heart of I Lupi’s defense.
