Ashley Young accidentally left Man United’s training to join Inter Milan

DBasia.news –  Ashley Young just needs one more step to join Inter Milan.  Not wanting to lose his chance, Young deliberately left training to urge Manchester United to be released immediately

The 34-year-old footballer was interested in Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte even when he was still gushing Chelsea two years ago.  MU manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer really does not want Young to go.

Solskjaer even offered Young a one-year contract extension but was refused.  The versatile English player then handled this problem in his own way.

According to news from The Sun, Young left the training squad for the Red Devils to train alone at the Carrington gym on Friday (01/10/2020).  Solskjaer then responded to the action by removing Young from Man United’s squad for the home match against Norwich City which ended in a 4-0 victory.

Afterward Young also missed the Manchester United match afterward when he eliminated Wolverhampton 1-0 to qualify for the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Now Young has got his wish.  MU is believed to have an agreement with Inter for the transfer of the experienced footballer with a transfer value of 1.5 million euros not including bonuses.

Young is scheduled to be in Milan today (17/1) to undergo a medical test before signing a contract.  That will end Young’s 8.5-year career at Man United where he has made more than 250 appearances in all competitions.
