After the game, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta was asked about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Arteta answered curtly.

“It’s better if we just talk about the game,” he explained as quoted by the BBC.

“I already explained about him when the game had not started. As for the team’s performance, I was quite happy with the performance of the players,” he continued.

“Unfortunately there’s indisciplinary breach,” Arteta told Sky Sports.

“I think we are very consistent, that we have non-negotiable things in the team we have defined as a club, and he was not involved today,” he explained.

Mikel Arteta was reluctant to respond to questions whether Aubameyang would forever be removed from his captaincy. Areta immediately directed an explanation about the game on the field.

Aubameyang has infact shown unsatisfactory form on the pitch with Arsenal. From 14 matches in the Premier League, he has only scored four goals.
