Balde Admitted Can’t Help to Refuse Inter’s Offer

DBasia.news – Lazio former player Keita Balde admitted that he couldn’t help to refuse Inter Milan’s offer. The player believed Luciano Spalletti will give a positive impact on his career.

Keita Balde is the last player recruited by Inter Milan in the 2018 summer transfer market. Italian media reported La Beneamata gained the buying option at the end of the loan period. Later, Inter would pay 33 million euro to AS Monaco to get him.

“When Inter come forward it’s hard not to accept their proposal. I was very comfortable at Monaco, but the Nerazzurri put in a strong effort to bring me here and I appreciated the club’s work,” Keita said reported by Gianluca Di Marzio through the official website.

Serie A is not a new thing for Keita. Before supporting AS Monaco, the midfielder was part of Lazio for 6 years.

The experience made the 23-year-old player understood Italian football, including the current coach Spalletti.

Spalletti has a lot of experience, he knows the league well and I think he can play an important role in my growth and I’m at his disposal,” he said.

“My role? I have no preference, I can play all four roles upfront. I’m available to the manager, I’ll play where he thinks it’s best,” Keita mentioned.

Italian media predicted Inter Milan would be the biggest rival of Juventus in chasing the Scudetto title. Unfortunately, in the first match, Mauro Icardi and friends defeated by Sassuolo 1-0.

“Are we Juventus biggest antagonist? We should only focus on ourselves and win all the matches,” Keita uttered.
