DBasia.news – Barcelona continues to focus on regenerating the back line in the player transfer market. The latest news believes the Blaugrana is eyeing two talented young men who are playing at a Brazilian club, Palmeiras.
Reporting from Goal, Barcelona will complete a transfer of 20 million euros for two young defenders from Palmeiras, Vitao and Luan Candido. Barca and Palmeiras negotiations are believed to have reached more detailed stages.
Vitao is only 19 years old and plays as a central defender, while his compatriot, Candido, is 18 years old and acts as a left-back. If Barca successfully recruit both, Vitao and Candido will start their careers from Barcelona B.
Both players are considered as one of the developing talents in the world and have a bright future. Barca only want to secure their service quickly before other European clubs in action.
This ensures the seriousness of Barca to regenerate the back line. Last January, Ernesto Valverde’s side added ammunition in the area by bringing Jeison Murillo as a loan player to Valencia, Jean-Clair Todibo from Toulouse, and Emerson from Atletico Mineiro
Murillo is still a loan, but Todibo and Emerson are plotted to become Barcelona’s future defenders to replace Gerard Pique and Thomas Vermaelen. Emerson is currently on loan at Real Betis until the end of the 2018/19 season.
