DBasia.news – Barcelona as one of Jules Kunde’s fans is stopping the hunt for the Sevilla player. The Jules Kunde transfer saga is coming to an end.
Kounde has been wanted by big clubs since last year. But Sevilla as the owner are preparing to sell him this summer.
Chelsea and Barcelona then emerged as serious fans of Kounde. The two big clubs do need additional quality players in defense.
The competition between the two teams was fierce. Kounde has not yet determined the club he wants to go to.
But Chelsea look very serious about getting Kounde. The Blues have reportedly made an official offer of 50 million euros.
Even so, Sevilla and Kunde did not immediately agree to Chelsea’s offer. They are still waiting for Barcelona’s proposal.
Barcelona is now focusing on fixing the defense after bringing in Robert Lewandowski. This was confirmed directly by the club president, Joan Laporta.
However, according to the COPE report, Barcelona has never made an official offer to Sevilla. The Blaugrana seem to be aware that they cannot compete with Chelsea in the Kounde transfer saga.
Barcelona are now even starting to switch to other targets. One of them is Cesar Azpilicueta who incidentally is a Chelsea defender.
This condition makes Chelsea believed to have won the competition for Kounde. It is not impossible that the transfer of the French player will be announced in the near future.
