Bayern Munich cannot wait to meet Barcelona

DBasia.news – Bayern Munich has defeated Chelsea and advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals. Next is to meet Barcelona and Die Roten cannot wait.

Munich and Barcelona are scheduled to meet in the quarter-finals of the 2019-2020 Champions League. This match is planned to be held on Saturday (15/8) AM, at the Estadio da Luz.

Munchen’s high self-confidence was shown by one of his defenders, David Alaba. He seemed impatient to immediately compete with the Barcelona squad.

“Barcelona has a good team with great individual players. We are aware of that, but we want to face it and go to Portugal with confidence,” Alaba said on UEFA’s official website.

It’s not without reason that Alaba is enveloped in high self-confidence. Munich’s appearance has continued to increase, especially since the competition resumed during the pandemic.

On the other hand, Barcelona is not in an ideal condition. The Blaugrana’s journey throughout this season was marked by a number of internal conflicts which made their performance unstable.

“I think the competition will be more intense in the next few weeks and that is why we want to prepare well in Portugal so we are ready,” he added.

Unlike usual, the continuation of the Champions League this season will be held in a single match format. This makes the remaining eight teams have to minimize errors if they want to continue advancing to the championship ladder.

Alaba is indeed ambitious to bring in Munich to win a trophy. He even ignored rumors of a move to Paris Saint-Germain in order to make this happen.
