Real Madrid waited until the 33rd minute to equalize. Isco’s volley kick that lead to the lower right corner of the goal was unable to be countered by Sergio Herrera. The Osasuna players protested as they thought the offside had occurred first, but the referee remained unmoved.
Five minutes later, Real Madrid turned 1-2. Sergio Ramos listed his name on the scoreboard after receiving Casemiro’s pass. The ball that went to the far post was immediately struck by Ramos. The 1-2 score lasted until halftime.
Osasuna almost equalized in the 54th minute. Arniaz returned to be the actor behind the opportunity. However, the shot was still wide.
The series of opportunities present made the Osasuna’s players even more eager to pursue victory. Meanwhile, Madrid appeared more defensively to maintain excellence.
Real Madrid received the upper hand after Lucas Vazquez scored in the 84th minute. The goal started from Karim Benzema’s move as if he was shooting it straight away, but he gave Vazquez the ball.
Unsatisfied with the 1-3 advantage, Madrid returned to gain a goal during injury time. Substitute Luka Jovic volleyed past Herrara and into the top right corner of the goal.
