DBasia.news – The world of football was shrouded in dark clouds. Napoli legend and world football icon Diego Armando Maradona died at the age of 60 of a heart attack.

Maradona was found breathless at his home in the morning local time. Previously, Maradona had undergone treatment in the hospital for a blood clot in his brain and was allowed to go home for treatment at home.

World football figures immediately reacted to express their condolences to the legend, either through social media or speaking directly in front of the television screen. The clubs that have been strengthened by Maradona are no exception.

One of them is Boca Juniors. The historic Argentine club and the top in the world have been strengthened for two periods by Maradona in mid-1976-1981 and 1995-1997. Boca has a special way to remember the legend.

Quoted from FourFourTwo and can be seen on Twitter, the famous La Bombonera stadium turned off all stadium lights and only one light was on. It was a special room – like the VVIP – that Maradona and her family used to live in when they watched matches.

The scenery was quite mind-blowing and was a special way for Boca to remember Maradona. It was as if Maradona was still there and seeing La Bombonera.

Boca did open Maradona’s path to Europe before leaving for Napoli, Barcelona and Sevilla. In the first period Maradona won the Argentinian Primera Division title before retiring in the second period with Boca.

In addition, Maradona also gave two Scudettos for Napoli and one UEFA Cup (Europa League) in 1989. Napoli’s home, San Paolo, is reportedly going to change its name to Maradona’s name in memory of him.
