Bologna striker asks to be sign by Milan after scoring a crucial goal

DBasia.news – Drama occurred in the postponed Serie A 2021-2022 match which has the potential to be a crucial match in the struggle for the Scudetto. Unexpectedly defending Serie A champions, Inter Milan, lost at Renato Dall’Ara, the headquarters of Bologna.

The match will be held on Thursday (28/04). Inter had a quick lead from Ivan Perisic’s goal (3′), but former Inter striker, Marko Arnautovic, equalized to make it 1-1 in the 28th minute.

From that goal the game was tight until a moment occurred in the 81st minute. Samir Handanovic’s back-up goalkeeper, Ionut Radu, made a blunder trying to control Perisic’s throw-in and the ball was converted to goal by Nicola Sansone.

Bologna defended all out and Inter were unable to score again. Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna set a record for the first time since 2011-2012 unbeaten streak  against Inter, AC Milan and Juventus.

But on the other hand, Sansone’s goal has made the fight for the Scudetto even more exciting this season. What it means is that Inter are no longer in charge of their own destiny in the race for the Serie A title.

Inter are now two points adrift of AC Milan at the top of the table with 74 points, both playing 34 games. Sansone’s goal could potentially determine the winner of this season’s Scudetto.

The former Sassuolo and Villarreal player knows how important that goal is. Sansone (30 years old) admitted to being a Milan fan since childhood and the goal could help them. Sansone took advantage of the moment.

Sansone gave a message to Paolo Maldini, the Director of Milan and the Rossoneri with the hope that Milan would be willing to sign him or at least borrow him until he could play in the Champions League.

“I hope Maldini or someone from Milan is watching! Maybe they can say thank you, give me a loan deal so I can play in the Champions League!” said Sansone in Football-Italy.

Four games are increasingly crucial for Duo Milan. Inter in the remaining matches will play against Udinese (01/05), Empoli (06/05), Cagliari (16/05), and Sampdoria (22/05). Meanwhile, Milan will face Fiorentina (01/05), Verona (09/05), Atalanta (15/05), and Sassuolo (22/05).
