Bonucci Testifies that Ronaldo Returned in Perfect Condition after the Quarantine Period
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus defender, Leonardo Bonucci admired Cristiano Ronaldo’s ability to maintain his perfect physical condition even though he had returned from quarantine during the corona virus pandemic.
The corona virus pandemic has caused Italian football, like other football competitions around the world, to be suspended since mid-March.
The players are allowed to return to their country of origin, with the condition to remain locked up in their houses while undergoing independent training.
Practicing at home can be challenging for athletes, as the facilities and conditions are different from the usual training sessions conducted by football teams.
However, Bonucci testified that Ronaldo had managed to keep his physique in good condition after returning from the lockdown period ahead of the return of Italian football in June.
“I met him [after the lockdown period] in the same conditions as the previous meeting [before the lockdown],” Bonucci told Ronaldo about La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He is a super athlete, an extraordinary professional. He told me what made him fit in the quarantine. He was back in perfect condition. He amazed of that, he was a champion from all angles. “
Leonardo Bonucci and Cristiano Ronaldo have now begun to train fully, even with physical contact as usual, with Juventus playing their first match after the suspension by facing AC Milan in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals, on June 12.
