Brasil Legends: Neymar Often Caught in the “Act”

DBasia.news – Ex-Brasil national team’s frontline, Julio Baptista, agreed that Neymar is often exaggerating in responding foul to him. But Baptista thought that it was also supported by the fact that Paris Saint-Germain’s top player is being the target.

Neymar is trending in the 2018 World Cup. Besides his excellent performance, he also criticized for overreacting to the foul.

Responding to that, Baptista thought that it happened because Neymar often becomes the target. Though this 47 years old player agreed that his compatriot was too easy to fall.

“It is true that Neymar sometimes takes things too far, but we must remember that he gets kicked a lot,” said Baptista as reported by Soccerway.

“There are times when he is on the floor complaining about a foul and then the replay shows that this player [Mexico defender Miguel Layun] stepped on his ankle where he was in pain. So in football a lot of things get magnified,” he added.

“It is true that he dives sometimes – which is not good for football – but he gets kicked a lot too,” Baptista continued.

Meanwhile, Neymar failed to bring Samba team to bring home the World Cup. During the quarterfinal, Belgium defeated Gabriel Jesus and friends 2-1.
