DBasia.news – The transfer speculation of Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea to Bayern Munchen is getting intense. His former teammate in Chelsea, Marcos Alonso, suggested him to stay in Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi is one of the most attractive young talents in Europe. The British player also often plays with Chelsea.
Most of the time, Hudson-Odoi plays when Chelsea participate in the Europa League. The 18-year-old player has scored one goal and one assist in that match.
No wonder, Bayern Munchen are interested in signing Hudson-Odoi during the 2019 winter transfer market. The Bavarian predict he would be the successor of Franck Ribery who would retire soon.
“He is a good player, but he is very young. He needs to have patience and to be hungry and fight for a place in this team. I don’t know why someone would go to Bayern Munich,” Alonso said as cited by Metro.
“That is all he needs to do, he has all the conditions to be a great player, now it is up to him to fight for a place here or try to find more minutes somewhere else,” he continued.
“We are Chelsea, another great team, the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri admits that he doesn’t see any change in Hudson-Odoi after Bayern Munchen showed the interest. “Odoi in the last week has been very normal. I have seen him every day in training, he has been really very normal,” Sarri said.
Currently, Hudson-Odoi is still in contract until June 2022. He is worth no less than £30M.
