DBasia.news – Manchester United moved quickly to find a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who moved to Inter Milan. There are currently three transfer targets to replace Lukaku.
Lukaku, 26, went to Inter with his agent, Federico Pastorello. The Red Devils received an offer from the Nerazzurri of 78 million euros. The details, 65 million euros in advance payments and 13 million euros bonus. Lukaku will be recruiting Antonio Conte’s fifth team.
The summer transfer window will soon end in the UK and close on 8 August local time (in Indonesia on 9 August morning). That means Man United must turn on the fast movement mode to find Lukaku’s replacement.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team still has Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to play the spearhead. However, United still need a sharp central attacker to be a mainstay in getting goals.
In this short amount of time, there are at least three attackers that Man United can recruit. Reporting from various sources, the following three attackers.
Fernando Llorente
The 34-year-old Spanish striker doesn’t have a club at the moment. His contract has ended with Tottenham Hotspur and Fernando Llorente can be recruited for free by Man United.
Not a long-term solution, but, Llorente’s experience and superiority in airball duels could be an advantage for Man United. The former Juventus striker could be the ideal target man substitute for Lukaku.
Mario Mandzukic
Lukaku left, Man United resumed negotiations with Juventus to recruit Mario Mandzukic. Like Llorente, the 33-year-old striker is not a long-term solution.
Mandzukic can be recruited for 15 million euros. Unlike Llorente, who is fully positioned as a central striker, Mandzukic can also be placed as a wing attacker.
The other side of Mandzukic’s strengths is his enthusiasm and high playing determination. The Croatian striker is like a fighter who is always ready to mobilize everything while competing.
Inaki Williams
This name only appeared after Lukaku left for the city of Milan. Man United is reportedly ready to activate the championship for the 88 million euro purchase of Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams – just like Chelsea when he made up for the purchase of Kepa Arrizabalaga last year.
Inaki, 25, could be United’s long-term solution, although his playing style is not much different from Rashford: an agile striker who likes to move for space.
